The Importance of the Local Church & its Protestant Heritage in Scotland

 

In our own locality on the Machars Peninsula in Scotland, we are looking to work with the National Church (known as “The Kirk”) in restoring a true Parish Church that has its heart in God, which is continuously hearing from God and moving by the Spirit of God. Complimentary to this is our own Pentecostal Holiness Church that has its roots in Wesleyan holiness, reaching out all over the world by live streaming whilst at the same time looking to “perfect” local believers for the work of the ministry. We see this as complimentary rather than competitive.

Our role as a complimentary ministry is to instil vision for without a vision the people perish. All over Britain Churches and Chapels are closing down with Church of the Establishment seeming to be irrelevant to the modern age, and so the heart of this ministry is to bring to the fore the heart of God, the vision of God with signs, wonders and miracles confirming the Word, so that a lost generation can receive Christ Jesus.

The model following given by the heart of God in relation to Whithorn, Scotland can thus be used by the Spirit all over the World so that once more lost souls can be drawn by the Spirit to the Cross of Calvary.

i)  Remove the inaccuracy that there is a Minister Shortage: The Bible knows nothing of a one man Minister Church, rather a Church of Kings and Priests being “perfected” by Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Evangelists and Teachers who work as a team together.

Rather than being “sinners saved by grace” the popular mantra of the Calvinists of Scotland we are “more than conquerors”, saved and washed clean by the blood of the lamb, joint heirs with Christ, married unto HIM, and one Spirit. Indeed we are the temples of the Holy Ghost, not our own, bought with a price and with this we build up the Body, the Body that are branches to the Vine!

So all around us are ministers, in the plural and so the traditional one man minister scenario is over, a team is being built up of ministers, ordinary people that have not come under the textual criticism of the University system but are under God and his order, rather than that of the establishment and its bowing down to the Vatican-Bible Society non-definite Gnostic Bibles that bring death rather than life in their denial of Christ’s deity.

 

ii)  Ephesians 5 Marriages & True Love Waits: So many live together as in marriage and so in its purity this local Kirk will only marry those who are virgins, widows or widowers. How can this be? Well for God so loved the World, he gave his only begotten son so that those who have sinned can be made whole through the blood of Christ Jesus. We see dear ones who we love so much from this community who have lived as in marriage for years, coming to the Cross and having the slate washed clean to come as virgins down the aisle and marry in complete purity.

For those who are single, they can come forth and receive a certificate in acknowledgement before God that they are waiting till their honeymoon night, to be pure as Christ is pure, to honour the divine order for family on this earth.

iii) Mothers of the Church: that these be ordained as active ministers in the Church to teach the younger women in home keeping.

x)  Return to the Perfect Word of God, and away to that which is the “Working text” of Nestle Aland formed from the Vatican and the Bible Societies.

In the NKJV alone “hell” is removed 33 times, and “repent” 44 times and across all new translations under Nestle Aland (Vatican-Bible Society Alliance) key doctrines are constantly removed thus bringing to nothing the ancient creeds of the faith that uphold the co-existent, co-equal godhead.

​

A return therefore to the true Word of God is key to success and this we will do.

​

xi) Open intercessory prayer and intercessions to be presented on line all over the Machars Peninsula:  

A great passion for souls is so important in a local Church reaching out to its locality, nationally and internationally with missionaries supported and encouraged from the heart of the Church, a Church on its knees before God moving in the intercession of the Son and the Spirit to the Father.
